1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, use Weekend, or attend or organize plans through Weekend.
Weekend is currently intended for use in the United States. You are responsible for complying with laws and rules that apply to you, your content, and any event or activity you join or organize.
2. Your account
Provide accurate account information and keep it updated

Use only your own account and do not impersonate anyone else
You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless the access resulted from our own failure to use reasonable safeguards
3. Acceptable use
You may use Weekend only for lawful, respectful social planning and participation. You may not use Weekend to endanger others, exploit others, or misuse the service.
Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, dox, or intimidate anyone
Post illegal, fraudulent, sexually explicit, exploitative, hateful, or violent content
Use Weekend to facilitate prostitution, trafficking, non-consensual activity, underage activity, or illegal drug activity
Impersonate a person or misrepresent your identity, age, affiliation, or authority
Scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with, or abuse Weekend systems or access controls
Upload content you do not have the right to use
Use Weekend for spam, mass solicitation, or unauthorized commercial promotion
4. User content
You keep ownership of the content you create and upload. However, you give Weekend a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, format, modify for technical display, and display that content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
That license ends when your content is deleted, except to the extent content remains in backups, logs, cached systems, legal records, or minimal continuity placeholders such as the "Note deleted" state used when other users replied to your note.
5. Events, venues, and offline interactions
Weekend helps people organize and join social plans, but Weekend does not verify identity, run background checks, inspect venues, supervise gatherings, or guarantee anyone’s conduct, attendance, legality, sobriety, safety, or compatibility.
You are solely responsible for your decisions about whether to host, join, attend, travel to, pay for, or remain at any event, venue, or meetup connected to Weekend.
Weekend is not a dating service, transportation service, emergency service, or professional safety monitoring service. Use good judgment and leave any situation that feels unsafe.
6. Moderation and enforcement
Weekend may investigate conduct, remove content, limit visibility, suspend features, or suspend or delete accounts when we believe it is appropriate to protect users, enforce these Terms, or comply with law.
We are not obligated to monitor every interaction or piece of content, and our decision not to act in one instance does not waive our right to act later.
7. Third-party services
Weekend may rely on third-party services such as authentication providers, map and place providers, mobile operating systems, app stores, and infrastructure vendors. Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies.
Weekend is not responsible for third-party services, venues, or websites that you access through or in connection with the service.
8. Termination and deletion
You may stop using Weekend at any time and may delete your account in the app. We may also suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for others, or create risk for Weekend.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including content licenses, safety disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related provisions, survive termination.
9. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weekend is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or quiet enjoyment.
We do not warrant that Weekend will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure at all times, or free from harmful conduct by other users.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Weekend and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, opportunities, or personal injuries arising out of or related to your use of Weekend, your content, third-party conduct, venues, or offline interactions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Weekend and its operator for any claim arising out of or relating to the service will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid to Weekend, if any, during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Changes to Weekend or these Terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we may update the effective date and provide additional notice if appropriate.
